Talk about command performances, that was our first Red River shutout since 1965 and our largest margin of victory in the 118-year series history. On location at the historic grounds of the State Fair of Texas for the 93rd-straight year (100th time at a neutral site in Dallas) with its notable towering figure delivering the baritone-voiced line, "Howdy folks, I'm Big Tex," scene after scene was executed to perfection by a cast and crew that play after play had me thinking hmm, all right, all right, all right! Matthew's poignant line to the team leading up to the game was "leave no doubt." And in the end, they certainly didn't as Coach Sark and our Longhorns imposed their will in an epic 49-0 shoutout of the Sooners. And what epic theater it was on the grass turf of the iconic and illustrious Cotton Bowl as our Longhorns flawlessly delivered a Best Picture-worthy performance with our very own Academy Award winner Matthew McConaughey nodding his approval for every second of the three-hour performance. Coach Sark told the team before the game last week that they'd written the script, and on Saturday, it was their time to shine and make the movie.
